CD Salado's Zeru Calzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Fonseca in the 7th minute of play. Jorge Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeru Calzon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jorge Fonseca, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. LIGA DE QUITO's René Armenta got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trota Berzosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Xose Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CD Salado's Danny Ziarza got a free kick in the 16th minute. Clemente Conti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xose Santana having to interfere. Clemente Conti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Xose Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Trota Berzosa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xose Santana having to interfere. Zeru Calzon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Pino in the 45th minute of the match. Jorge Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Zeru Calzon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Zeru Calzon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jorge Fonseca's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Jorge Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeru Calzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zeru Calzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin De Bruyne, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to CD Salado getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Danny Ziarza hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, George Parcero cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Zeru Calzon was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The LIGA DE QUITO fans' excitement grew in the 60th match minute when LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. René Armenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trota Berzosa kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Jorge Fonseca might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeru Calzon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jorge Fonseca ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 69th minute, Jorge Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 70 played minutes CD Salado got a freekick which was hit by Danny Ziarza. In the 75th of the match, Trota Berzosa tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Xose Santana got in the way and made a wonderful save. When LIGA DE QUITO's Jorge Fonseca in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. René Armenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jorge Fonseca came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the LIGA DE QUITO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jorge Fonseca couldn't finish the play. After 90 minutes of play, LIGA DE QUITO's René Armenta made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeru Calzon was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the LIGA DE QUITO players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
