Xavier Borja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector-Luis Vital, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 33 minutes into the game, Taxourcu SC's Rey Muñoyerro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xavier Borja made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Rey Muñoyerro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Borja having to interfere. When Rey Muñoyerro came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Taxourcu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rey Muñoyerro couldn't finish the play. 40 minutes into the game, Candelario Semprun was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Marihuanos Futbol Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taxourcu SC the free kick. Candelario Semprun hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Rey Muñoyerro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Borja having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Hector-Luis Vital managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taxourcu SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hector-Luis Vital was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Xavier Borja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector-Luis Vital, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Marihuanos Futbol Club players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Taxourcu SC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Candelario Semprun made a kick off. Hector-Luis Vital fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xavier Borja having to interfere. After 76 played minutes Marihuanos Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Candelario Semprun. Taxourcu SC's Rey Muñoyerro got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rey Muñoyerro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Xavier Borja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 90 minutes of play, Taxourcu SC's Hector-Luis Vital made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xavier Borja was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Marihuanos Futbol Club supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Taxourcu SC's performance. The match ended with a win for Taxourcu SC.
