The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Liga de Loja's Nicolas Sarria sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernández Ludeña narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute, Vincente Paderniga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MESSI ASTRO X fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. España Caban showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vincente Paderniga in the 15th minute of the match. Americo Paderniga kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, MESSI ASTRO X's Cagua Renta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 19th minute Vincente Paderniga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but España Caban saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calisto Gaig hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. España Caban showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruno Cirarruista, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Nicolas Sarria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fernández Ludeña tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of MESSI ASTRO X booed when Liga de Loja was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Americo Paderniga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Bruno Cirarruista managed to get in a good position for a shot. MESSI ASTRO X's supporters rose to their feet, but Bruno Cirarruista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. España Caban breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. España Caban didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vincente Paderniga went, in the 48th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. The Liga de Loja players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. MESSI ASTRO X were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zilar Portillo made a kick off. Vincente Paderniga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Liga de Loja's España Caban played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincente Paderniga in the 63rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Nicolas Sarria managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liga de Loja's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Sarria was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fernández Ludeña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. España Caban made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vincente Paderniga in the 69th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bruno Cirarruista got free with España Caban in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Liga de Loja's zone, Vincente Paderniga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. España Caban came out of the goal and Vincente Paderniga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. España Caban made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Bruno Cirarruista sent off a good shot on target. Bruno Cirarruista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ismael Acebero kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Isaias Espineiro kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Nicolas Sarria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernández Ludeña having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MESSI ASTRO X eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
