Adrian Arvelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Pink Panthers H.V. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Ximun Sando hit a great ball. ADN SC's Ascencio Capell was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 11th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Adrian Arvelo stood somewhat misplaced when Fernando Oyuelos came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. If Ascencio Capell had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Oyuelos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adrian Arvelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fernando Oyuelos got free with Adrian Arvelo in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 played minutes Pink Panthers H.V. got a freekick which was hit by Joaquin Teijeiro. In the 30th minute, Fernando Oyuelos made a precise shot to the right of Adrian Arvelo. Pink Panthers H.V.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Virgilio Balaunde recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pink Panthers H.V.'s goalkeeper Adrian Arvelo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Pink Panthers H.V.'s zone, Virgilio Balaunde stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adrian Arvelo came out of the goal and Virgilio Balaunde tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fidel Tudela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Arvelo having to interfere. After 42 minutes, Alvaro Cena mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pink Panthers H.V. and the ADN SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xefe Brasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Sánchez Guruzeta managed to get in a good position for a shot. ADN SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sánchez Guruzeta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrian Arvelo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Fernando Oyuelos made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, ADN SC's Fernando Oyuelos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adrian Arvelo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Fernando Oyuelos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Tudela received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Fernando Oyuelos scored 6-0 in the 68th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adrian Arvelo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ascencio Capell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Adrian Arvelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sánchez Guruzeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
