After 12 played minutes UD Cacha got a freekick which was hit by Xabel Llanderas. Cornelio Cardeños made an important save on a dangerous shot by Omar Ruisuarez in the 13th minute. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind UD Cacha's goalkeeper Cornelio Cardeños, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cornelio Cardeños showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villafuerte Briones, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Villafuerte Briones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Cacha's Cornelio Cardeños played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villafuerte Briones in the 30th minute of play. If Cordero Ceballos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Villafuerte Briones blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Cardeños having to make a save. When Villafuerte Briones came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the UD Manandel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villafuerte Briones couldn't finish the play. Omar Ruisuarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vennancio Cardigondi to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Xabel Llanderas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Cacha and the UD Manandel players grew even worse after the yellow card. Vimaro Valdecañas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vennancio Cardigondi in the 90th minute of the match. When Rixon Maximino was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 91 minutes had been played.
