If Rodriguez Teijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Barroiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubarna Benavides in the 8th minute of the match. Ubarna Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Urtats Buisan's late challenge caught a UD Jauregui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urtats Buisan helped the player get up and apologised. After 11 played minutes Vieja SC got a freekick which was hit by Urtats Buisan. Ubarna Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Barroiz having to interfere. When Boris Castellana came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the UD Jauregui fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Boris Castellana couldn't finish the play. After having played for 21 minutes, Rodriguez Teijon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vieja SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodriguez Teijon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alejandro Afaba showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xurxo Paliza in the 27th minute of the match. Boris Castellana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Barroiz having to interfere. Rodriguez Teijon hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Rodriguez Teijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alejandro Afaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alejandro Afaba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodriguez Teijon in the 41st minute of play. Vieja SC's Urtats Buisan suffered a sore thigh after 42 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Ubarna Benavides charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ubarna Benavides the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ubarna Benavides hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Vieja SC's Rodriguez Teijon got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xurxo Paliza recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Vieja SC defense, Boris Castellana kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Miguel Barroiz. The Vieja SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Miguel Barroiz should have stopped the shot. Xurxo Paliza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Alejandro Afaba tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xurxo Paliza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. UD Jauregui were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Vieja SC for a fine match.
