The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Udalaitz Caller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sotomayor Cedillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrechos United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nasa FC the free kick. Marcelo Pesante kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nunez Enao in the 21st minute of play forced Nasa FC's goalkeeper Bustos Ugarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bustos Ugarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Enao, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 26th minute Eugenio Cires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bustos Ugarte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Calle Belluga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bustos Ugarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cires in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sotomayor Cedillo made a kick off. Eugenio Cires kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Arrechos United's goal looked a bit too open when Sotomayor Cedillo came free, but Udalaitz Caller reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alonzo Yañez charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alonzo Yañez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Nasa FC's Alonzo Yañez got a free kick in the 66th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcelo Pesante got free with Bustos Ugarte in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 79th minute, Calle Belluga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arrechos United's Nunez Enao got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sotomayor Cedillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Udalaitz Caller having to interfere. Bustos Ugarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugenio Cires in the 88th minute of play. Arrechos United were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
