After having played for 2 minutes, Pinto Caracedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barcelona S.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Pinto Caracedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, UD Azucar's Xuaco Abarca got control of the ball when Juvenal Marques tried to sneak it across the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Juvenal Marques dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Xuaco Abarca, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pinto Caracedo in the 11th minute of play forced UD Azucar's goalkeeper Xuaco Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. UD Azucar were furious when Mercado Jaimes was red carded, 13 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After a rather tough play, UD Azucar's Mercado Jaimes got a free kick in the 13th minute. Juvenal Marques could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Xuaco Abarca made a huge save. After 27 minutes of play, Barcelona S.C.'s Juvenal Marques made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xuaco Abarca was left in no man's land by his defense there! Torres Cadaval recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 33rd minute Anangonó Dorrial shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuaco Abarca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Juvenal Marques got a very nice opportunity to score, but Xuaco Abarca was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 36 minutes into the game, Juvenal Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Xuaco Abarca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xuaco Abarca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pinto Caracedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute.

The wind increased when Juvenal Marques made the kick off in the second half. Xuaco Abarca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kevin Kubja in the 73rd minute of the match. Xuaco Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anangonó Dorrial in the 74th minute of play. UD Azucar's Xuaco Abarca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candelario Cao in the 76th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Juvenal Marques cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Xuaco Abarca was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Xuaco Abarca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juvenal Marques in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, UD Azucar's goal looked a bit too open when Torres Cadaval came free, but Xuaco Abarca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vinicio Gamarra hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Marques in the 86th minute of play forced UD Azucar's goalkeeper Xuaco Abarca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Pinto Caracedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that Barcelona S.C. were the better team. Barcelona S.C.'s players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
