An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Goicoechea in the 12th minute of play forced CD Guallagro's goalkeeper Criban Goyanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the game, Trota Lamboy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. CD Guallagro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vendetta FC the free kick. In the 19th match minute, CD Guallagro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Trota Lamboy to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Angelo Goicoechea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Angelo Goicoechea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Criban Goyanes made a huge save. Angelo Goicoechea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vellito Barrenechea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jimmy Iruretagoyena, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. CD Guallagro's Criban Goyanes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save CD Guallagro from getting a goal against them. 71 minutes into the match, CD Guallagro's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Hidalgo came free, but Criban Goyanes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
