Juan-Alfredo Astiategui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xorxe Hergueta in the 13th minute of the match. When Unai Hondon fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's protests and gave Unai Hondon a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Unai Hondon got a free kick in the 14th minute. After a defensive mix-up in La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C's zone, Jairón Tresgallo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoro Puelles came out of the goal and Jairón Tresgallo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the match, Unai Hondon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Victoro Puelles. La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Unai Hondon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Joaquin Ponte took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victoro Puelles. Victoro Puelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Victoro Puelles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairón Tresgallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C's Loco Vilarrubia got a free kick in the 31st minute. Juan-Alfredo Astiategui made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Texeira Chacin in the 36th minute of play. Loco Vilarrubia kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Juan-Alfredo Astiategui stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Texeira Chacin's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Joaquin Ponte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoro Puelles saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Unai Hondon ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Victoro Puelles. Victoro Puelles yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joaquin Ponte to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Joaquin Ponte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 57 minutes into the game, Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Joaquin Ponte nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victoro Puelles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Texeira Chacin got free with Juan-Alfredo Astiategui in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C's Texeira Chacin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Juan-Alfredo Astiategui. That made the score 5-1 after 64 minutes of play. 67 minutes into the match, La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Ponte came free, but Victoro Puelles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan-Alfredo Astiategui made an important save on a dangerous shot by Texeira Chacin in the 69th minute. Victoro Puelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquin Ponte in the 71st minute of play. With a little luck, Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Juan-Alfredo Astiategui got control of the ball when Texeira Chacin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 74 minutes of play Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli's Aguinaga Queipo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The audience thought a goal was coming when Texeira Chacin got free with Juan-Alfredo Astiategui in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jairón Tresgallo in the 82nd minute of play forced La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C's goalkeeper Victoro Puelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C defense, Jairón Tresgallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victoro Puelles. The La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victoro Puelles should have stopped the shot. In the 88th minute, Unai Hondon made a precise shot to the right of Victoro Puelles. La Jarrilla De Tinto F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Freibeuter of Sankt Pauli players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
