Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Carnot's Anibal Santistevan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Díaz Olaiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angel Lizaso in the 4th minute of the match. Macias Piñango came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletas de Cristo's Samaniego Moraza. But to his dismay, Samaniego Moraza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The supporters of Carnot booed when Atletas de Cristo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ubendu Villaraud didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Carnot fans' excitement grew in the 16th match minute when Carnot's Gonzalo Pedro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Aurelio Ilardia kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the match, Atletas de Cristo's Zuhaitz Buzon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Macias Piñango narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gonzalo Pedro kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 minutes, Samaniego Moraza made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Carnot's Macias Piñango tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Macias Piñango came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletas de Cristo's Samaniego Moraza. But to his dismay, Samaniego Moraza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Angel Lizaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Díaz Olaiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pablo Sisalde got free with Macias Piñango in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Macias Piñango was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Clemente Lloves showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-1 in the 40 minute of play. After 44 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Angel Lizaso.

Anibal Santistevan succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-2. Macias Piñango made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Sisalde in the 55th minute of play. Diego Proaño kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Angel Lizaso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Díaz Olaiz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Díaz Olaiz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Gonzalo Pedro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-3 in the 59 minute of play. When Atletas de Cristo's Samaniego Moraza in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carnot's goalie prevented a goal. 64 minutes into the match, Angel Lizaso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Díaz Olaiz, 4-4. Aurelio Ilardia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Díaz Olaiz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alonzo Sagastia went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-5 was the resulting score. In the 74th minute Anibal Santistevan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Díaz Olaiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samaniego Moraza took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Macias Piñango. Macias Piñango dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Angel Lizaso got free with Díaz Olaiz in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 82nd minute Carnot were awarded a corner. Julian Salcines went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Julian Salcines almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Atletas de Cristo's Díaz Olaiz did a great save. Macias Piñango showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Lloves, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. After having played for 94 minutes, Samaniego Moraza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletas de Cristo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samaniego Moraza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Carnot supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Carnot would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
