After a defensive mix-up in Ingueza's zone, Joel Armida stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walter Cerillo came out of the goal and Joel Armida tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bombillo's Xzavier Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubelteso Ortega in the 20th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Ubelteso Ortega managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ingueza's supporters rose to their feet, but Ubelteso Ortega was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xzavier Saavedra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 25 minutes, Camilo Retes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bombillo and the Ingueza players grew even worse after the yellow card. Xzavier Saavedra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Garrido Portocarrero, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 31st minute Valencia Soria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Cerillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ingueza getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Garrido Portocarrero hit a great ball. In the 36th minute Ubelteso Ortega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavier Saavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th match minute, Bombillo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Checa Pereira to maneuver through the defense. When Villagra Bevia came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Ingueza fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villagra Bevia couldn't finish the play. Ubelteso Ortega was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 44th minute. Ingueza's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Valencia Soria to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ubelteso Ortega had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Xzavier Saavedra. Bombillo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ubelteso Ortega was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 55th minute Villagra Bevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xzavier Saavedra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Villagra Bevia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Xzavier Saavedra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Bombillo getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. John Trasierra hit a great ball. 60 minutes into the match, Bombillo's goal looked a bit too open when Ubelteso Ortega came free, but Xzavier Saavedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ubelteso Ortega kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Augusto Biniambres from long distance, 63 minutes into the match, got Walter Cerillo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Bombillo's Valencia Soria got a free kick in the 64th minute. Valencia Soria took the ball and in the 66 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Walter Cerillo. Walter Cerillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 69th minute, Ingueza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Valencia Soria fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ubelteso Ortega might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xzavier Saavedra. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ubelteso Ortega ran back to his position shaking his head. Villagra Bevia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xzavier Saavedra having to make a save. If Joel Armida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bombillo's Xzavier Saavedra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Villagra Bevia in the 83rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubelteso Ortega in the 85th minute of play forced Bombillo's goalkeeper Xzavier Saavedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valencia Soria in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Walter Cerillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Villagra Bevia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xzavier Saavedra read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. In the 95th minute, Rogerio Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bombillo's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
