Timoteo Porcayo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gerardo Arripe having to make a save. In the 8th minute, Timoteo Porcayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 14 minutes of play, UD Shirpud's Agustin Herbella made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gerardo Arripe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gerardo Arripe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Herbella's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 25th minute of the game. One of UD Shirpud:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Javilla:s goal. After some careless play in the UD Shirpud defense, Mario Vegas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Xaime Dameda. The UD Shirpud fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Xaime Dameda should have stopped the shot. Agustin Herbella struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Gerardo Arripe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for UD Shirpud. Agustin Herbella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gerardo Arripe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xaime Dameda made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Estevez Lira sent off a good shot on target. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arboleda Marcha made a kick off. Gómez Pedraja charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gómez Pedraja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Javilla's zone, Agustin Herbella stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Arripe came out of the goal and Agustin Herbella tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute of the match Javilla got a corner. UD Shirpud's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mario Vegas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 58th minute, Timoteo Porcayo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute, Mario Vegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Klimovich Acenero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Umbruso Piedeconcha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Javilla's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Herbella came free, but Gerardo Arripe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Porcayo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 66 played minutes Javilla got a freekick which was hit by Lopez Falla. After a defensive mix-up in Javilla's zone, Timoteo Porcayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerardo Arripe came out of the goal and Timoteo Porcayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes, Criban Criales mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UD Shirpud and the Javilla players grew even worse after the yellow card. Criban Criales hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When Arboleda Marcha came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Javilla fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arboleda Marcha couldn't finish the play. Gerardo Arripe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Timoteo Porcayo in the 81st minute. 87 minutes into the match, Javilla's goalkeeper Gerardo Arripe had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Timoteo Porcayo. Timoteo Porcayo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Gerardo Arripe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timoteo Porcayo got free with Gerardo Arripe in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 93rd minute, UD Shirpud's Agustin Herbella ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gerardo Arripe. Gerardo Arripe yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2.
