Saicam FC's Ximenes Perrote was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 5th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The throw-in from Mario Vegas in the 8th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Saicam FC's Pedro Lijo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ximenes Perrote in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gerardo Arripe saved Javilla from getting behind. In the 11th minute Arboleda Marcha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Cañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gabriel Roa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rey Busto's late challenge caught a Saicam FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rey Busto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Javilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Busto to maneuver through the defense. Gerardo Arripe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ximenes Perrote's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. 24 minutes into the game, Umbruso Piedeconcha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Javilla's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Saicam FC the free kick. Ximenes Perrote succeeded in the game's 32nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-1. Javilla's Gerardo Arripe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Javilla from getting a goal against them. When Ximenes Perrote in the 40th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Gerardo Arripe kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 3-1 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. In the 43rd minute, Suárez Madrigal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 44 played minutes, Saicam FC's Edwin Incera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerardo Arripe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saicam FC reached it. In the 45th minute Arboleda Marcha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Cañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ximenes Perrote to make the kick off. If Ximenes Perrote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 54th match minute, Javilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gómez Pedraja to maneuver through the defense. In the 61st minute, Ximenes Perrote ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gerardo Arripe was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. If Umbruso Piedeconcha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Javilla's Gerardo Arripe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximenes Perrote in the 68th minute of play. Gerardo Arripe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ximenes Perrote in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes, Saicam FC's Freddy Trianes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Gerardo Arripe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Saicam FC reached it. Gerardo Arripe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ximenes Perrote in the 74th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Saicam FC's zone, Arboleda Marcha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Cañas came out of the goal and Arboleda Marcha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Arboleda Marcha received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fabio Cañas came out and tried to block the shot, but Arboleda Marcha slotted it home off the left post making it 4-2 in the 79th minute. Espinoza Samperio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Saicam FC's Ximenes Perrote in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Javilla's goalie prevented a goal. After 84 minutes of play Javilla's Umbruso Piedeconcha was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Javilla getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Umbruso Piedeconcha hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Javilla's goal looked a bit too open when Ximenes Perrote came free, but Gerardo Arripe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ximenes Perrote received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Gerardo Arripe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ximenes Perrote's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gerardo Arripe was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. In the 95th match minute, Saicam FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kléber Curbelo to maneuver through the defense.
