The referee ignored AKATSUKIS FC's protests and gave Paco Helguera a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to AKATSUKIS FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Paco Helguera hit a great ball. The supporters of AKATSUKIS FC booed when Saicam FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferrer Alcega didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Cañas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paco Helguera, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. A collision led to Saicam FC getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Ferrer Alcega hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute Juan Sobrado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Cañas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabio Cañas didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paco Helguera went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Juan Sobrado scored 0-2 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabio Cañas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Harold Holsmuller managed to get in a good position for a shot. AKATSUKIS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Harold Holsmuller was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Cañas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 45 minutes of play, AKATSUKIS FC's Harold Holsmuller made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The wind increased when Paco Helguera made the kick off in the second half. Juan Sobrado charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juan Sobrado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A sloppy throw-in by Carcelén Dragranda in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Saicam FC's Pedro Lijo. After a defensive mix-up in Saicam FC's zone, Paco Helguera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Cañas came out of the goal and Paco Helguera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ximenes Perrote in the 73rd minute of play forced AKATSUKIS FC's goalkeeper Amadeu Alvarenga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alonzo Gallinal got free with Fabio Cañas in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juan Sobrado took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fabio Cañas. Fabio Cañas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Amadeu Alvarenga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ximenes Perrote, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Saicam FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edwin Incera in the 85th minute. After taking down the ball on Saicam FC's corner Edwin Incera fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Amadeu Alvarenga quite easily take care of the ball. 89 minutes into the match, Alonzo Gallinal dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fabio Cañas, 0-7. When the match was over AKATSUKIS FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Saicam FC throughout the match.
