Sánchez Castruita's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Aral Olcay skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 12 in the game by Sánchez Castruita from a close distance when the talented Aral Olcay managed to make a qualified save. CD Cohambi's players were relieved. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Tarresola got free with Aral Olcay in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute Jacob Moutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Łukasz Fabiański saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasco Cuezba was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 15 minutes into the match. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Azulgranas! With a little luck, CD Cohambi's Aral Olcay got control of the ball when Uriel Laserna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aral Olcay made an important save on a dangerous shot by Uriel Laserna in the 21st minute. Uriel Laserna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Aral Olcay made a huge save. 34 minutes into the match, CD Cohambi's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Zust came free, but Aral Olcay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanny Sabugo in the 35th minute of play forced CD Cohambi's goalkeeper Aral Olcay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Łukasz Fabiański made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrian Zubillaga in the 36th minute of play. After 38 minutes Azulgranas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hernan Montealegre who took care of the corner kick. 38 minutes into the game, one of Azulgranas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Aral Olcay was a little too slow when Marco Zust got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. Uriel Laserna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Aral Olcay made a huge save. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adrian Zubillaga to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Clemente Novoa during the 56th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clemente Novoa hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Łukasz Fabiański took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Zubillaga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the match, Jacob Moutinho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Łukasz Fabiański. Azulgranas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacob Moutinho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 65 played minutes CD Cohambi got a freekick which was hit by Celso Corbella. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Jacob Moutinho managed to get in a good position for a shot. CD Cohambi's supporters rose to their feet, but Jacob Moutinho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Łukasz Fabiański breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by CD Cohambi's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Uriel Laserna was slow to take the kick. During this time Azulgranas's players had a chance to rest. In the 79th minute of the match, Adrian Zubillaga tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Łukasz Fabiański saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 80 minutes into the match, CD Cohambi's goal looked a bit too open when Viteri Tio came free, but Aral Olcay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aral Olcay came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Azulgranas's Uriel Laserna. But to his dismay, Uriel Laserna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 86 minutes into the match, CD Cohambi's goal looked a bit too open when Geovanny Sabugo came free, but Aral Olcay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacob Moutinho hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After a good free kick, Jacob Moutinho got an opportunity to smash the ball into the goal, but unfortunately, the ball went just outside the goal, which resulted in a goal kick for Azulgranas. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanny Sabugo in the 95th minute of play forced CD Cohambi's goalkeeper Aral Olcay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the CD Cohambi players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Azulgranas.
