Cotera Meca showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Villafuerte Olalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 7 minutes into the game, one of Carnot:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 9th minute there was a penalty for TITANS FC. Peter Melon stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cotera Meca. 0-1. Carnot's Cotera Meca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cumali Aysan in the 11th minute of play. When Cevallos Trevino came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Carnot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cevallos Trevino couldn't finish the play. Cumali Aysan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cevallos Trevino in the 19th minute of play forced TITANS FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Onofre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Onofre took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cevallos Trevino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Villafuerte Olalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to TITANS FC getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Peter Melon hit a great ball. Cotera Meca came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by TITANS FC's Cumali Aysan. But to his dismay, Cumali Aysan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 32 played minutes Carnot got a freekick which was hit by Gregorio Luga. Calle Alaña hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Ramiro Onofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flor Arganza in the 35th minute of play. Carnot's Wilfredo Candina was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ramiro Onofre in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Carnot booed when TITANS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cumali Aysan didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Carnot's goal looked a bit too open when Cumali Aysan came free, but Cotera Meca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carnot's Cotera Meca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Alaña in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cumali Aysan to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cumali Aysan got free with Cotera Meca in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cevallos Trevino took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ramiro Onofre. Ramiro Onofre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Peter Melon got free with Cotera Meca in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 61 minutes, Cumali Aysan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TITANS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cumali Aysan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TITANS FC's Ramiro Onofre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flor Arganza in the 63rd minute of play. After 63 minutes of play, Carnot's Flor Arganza made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ramiro Onofre was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind TITANS FC's goalkeeper Ramiro Onofre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ramiro Onofre came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Carnot's Flor Arganza. But to his dismay, Flor Arganza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a defensive mix-up in Carnot's zone, Leonel Rellan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cotera Meca came out of the goal and Leonel Rellan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cotera Meca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonel Rellan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carnot's Cotera Meca proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Carnot from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Carnot's Cotera Meca got control of the ball when Ruben Buelens tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cumali Aysan struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Cotera Meca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TITANS FC. Ramiro Onofre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Verner Sundström, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of TITANS FC booed when Carnot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flor Arganza didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute Flor Arganza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Onofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Wilfredo Candina fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carnot's protests and gave Wilfredo Candina a yellow card for diving instead. Wilfredo Candina hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Carnot's Cotera Meca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calle Alaña in the 95th minute of play.
