Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Contratacion FC's Fernan Guinea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ramiro Horreo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Contratacion FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Artemio Ibarrola hit a great ball. 13 minutes into the match, Pascuita FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fernan Guinea came free, but Fidel Alaiza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hondo Guren hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Fidel Alaiza acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 16th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Peru Marañon. 18 minutes into the match, Contratacion FC's Fernan Guinea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fidel Alaiza narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Descalzo in the 24th minute of play forced Contratacion FC's goalkeeper Bilintx Aguirre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernan Guinea struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Fidel Alaiza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Contratacion FC. Ramiro Horreo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Fidel Alaiza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Alaiza was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Fernan Guinea capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fernan Guinea really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Bernardo Descalzo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bilintx Aguirre was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Pascuita FC's Walme Neila got a free kick in the 45th minute. After some careless play in the Pascuita FC defense, Ramiro Horreo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fidel Alaiza. The Pascuita FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fidel Alaiza should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernardo Descalzo to make the kick off. Fidel Alaiza came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Contratacion FC's Ramiro Horreo. But to his dismay, Ramiro Horreo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Ramiro Horreo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 60th minute Fernan Guinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Alaiza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Fernan Guinea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Contratacion FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernan Guinea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fidel Alaiza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bilintx Aguirre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernardo Descalzo in the 70th minute of play. Pascuita FC's Fidel Alaiza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jerardo Leniz in the 74th minute of play. When Ramiro Horreo came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Contratacion FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Horreo couldn't finish the play. Fidel Alaiza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramiro Horreo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fernan Guinea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Alaiza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Horreo in the 88th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pascuita FC's goalkeeper Fidel Alaiza, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. There was no doubt that Contratacion FC were the better team. Contratacion FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
