The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Witold Barniszke got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Witold Barniszke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edorta Figueroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 20 minutes into the match, Edorta Figueroa dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Josias Zaballos, 1-1. Edorta Figueroa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josias Zaballos having to interfere. Barry Kinniesons short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Josias Zaballos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Edorta Figueroa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Baileys FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edorta Figueroa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Witold Barniszke got free with Josias Zaballos in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Witold Barniszke in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Josias Zaballos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Barry Kinnieson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josias Zaballos having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Witold Barniszke to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Witold Barniszke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Baileys FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Witold Barniszke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 56 minutes of play, Baileys FC's Barry Kinnieson made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Josias Zaballos was left in no man's land by his defense there! Quimula's Josias Zaballos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Barniszke in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Baileys FC's goalkeeper Alberto Scivittaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Barto Albarellos. Josias Zaballos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Barry Kinnieson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Adriana Calvete's late challenge caught a Baileys FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adriana Calvete helped the player get up and apologised. Baileys FC's Lauro Fallabes was substituted for Barry Kinnieson. In the 73rd minute, Edorta Figueroa made a precise shot to the right of Josias Zaballos. Quimula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Barniszke in the 79th minute of play forced Quimula's goalkeeper Josias Zaballos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute of the match Baileys FC got a corner. Quimula's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edorta Figueroa ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Baileys FC's corner Edorta Figueroa fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Josias Zaballos quite easily take care of the ball. Lauro Fallabes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Josias Zaballos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute, Witold Barniszke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Baileys FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Witold Barniszke in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Josias Zaballos saved Quimula from getting behind.
