Leon Barquerin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marquez Zamudio in the 9th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulberto Ricaredo got free with Hermon Villamayor in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hulberto Ricaredo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Hermon Villamayor 19 minutes into the match. Víkingur Reykjavík's Leon Barquerin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Baldaliso in the 23rd minute of play. In the 28th minute, Marquez Zamudio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 minutes, Bernard Baldaliso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rodaculo FC and the Víkingur Reykjavík players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hermon Villamayor was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bernard Baldaliso was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Enrique Uceda during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Rodaculo FC booed when Víkingur Reykjavík was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Uceda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Rico Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Rodaculo FC's Kinsen Dulanto got a free kick in the 57th minute. Marquez Zamudio struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Leon Barquerin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodaculo FC. Hermon Villamayor came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Víkingur Reykjavík's Hulberto Ricaredo. But to his dismay, Hulberto Ricaredo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After a rather tough play, Rodaculo FC's Kinsen Dulanto got a free kick in the 67th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rodaculo FC's zone, Rico Sousa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hermon Villamayor came out of the goal and Rico Sousa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kinsen Dulanto during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kinsen Dulanto hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute of the match, Bernard Baldaliso tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leon Barquerin saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Hulberto Ricaredo put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Hermon Villamayor.
