Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Rey Cabalar made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rene Izaran during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 3rd minute, Rene Izaran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 4th minute of the match Sabin Garnelo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Raul Gañona skillfully saved the ball. 13 minutes into the match, Madrigal FC's goalkeeper Hugo Nueva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Su Berrez. After having played for 14 minutes, Rey Cabalar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cairano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rey Cabalar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rey Cabalar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hugo Nueva read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. After 20 minutes of play, Cairano's Su Berrez made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hugo Nueva was left in no man's land by his defense there! 23 minutes into the match, Joseph Arrascarate had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Raul Gañona. Cairano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joseph Arrascarate was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Menendo Ciriaca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Raul Gañona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Menendo Ciriaca struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Raul Gañona didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madrigal FC. In the 30th minute, Nando Escobedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Cairano getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Garcia Villaren hit a great ball. Joseph Arrascarate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Raul Gañona tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Madrigal FC's zone, Rey Cabalar stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hugo Nueva came out of the goal and Rey Cabalar tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Madrigal FC's Hugo Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Berrez in the 51st minute of play. 52 minutes into the match, Madrigal FC's goal looked a bit too open when Su Berrez came free, but Hugo Nueva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Madrigal FC's Hugo Nueva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Su Berrez in the 55th minute of play. In the 60th minute Menendo Ciriaca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Gañona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Menendo Ciriaca in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Raul Gañona prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joseph Arrascarate succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 70th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Joseph Arrascarate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madrigal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joseph Arrascarate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Raul Gañona breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Menendo Ciriaca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Gañona having to interfere. Madrigal FC's Joseph Arrascarate got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Cairano's Silvestre Canillas got a free kick in the 86th minute. Joseph Arrascarate hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Menendo Ciriaca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
