Fernanco Suazo started the match with the kick off. After 4 played minutes Cueva got a freekick which was hit by Eriz Gili. After 4 played minutes, RIOCAM's Lano Tijera shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Firme Lupidana came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in RIOCAM reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kauldi Barril in the 8th minute of play forced RIOCAM's goalkeeper Ceandro Peral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Telesforo Talaga took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ceandro Peral. RIOCAM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 17th minute Fernanco Suazo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceandro Peral saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Fernanco Suazo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ceandro Peral. RIOCAM's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Fernanco Suazo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Cueva's goal looked a bit too open when Aaron Asturias came free, but Firme Lupidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fernanco Suazo struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Ceandro Peral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cueva. After a rather tough play, RIOCAM's Atilano Azaceta got a free kick in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Cueva's Garcia Alava broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ceandro Peral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauldi Barril in the 45th minute of play. After the first half Cueva were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aaron Asturias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Eriz Gili fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cueva's protests and gave Eriz Gili a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th match minute, Cueva was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriz Gili to maneuver through the defense. Kauldi Barril received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Ceandro Peral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ceandro Peral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernanco Suazo, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Cueva's Kauldi Barril got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 66 minutes of play, Cueva's Kauldi Barril made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ceandro Peral was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Telesforo Talaga during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cueva fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 73rd minute. Penalty! Kauldi Barril received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ceandro Peral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lano Tijera's late challenge caught a Cueva's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lano Tijera helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, RIOCAM's Lano Tijera got a free kick in the 81st minute. It was beautiful to see Cueva's Telesforo Talaga in action when he in the 83rd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ceandro Peral didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 91st minute, which inside left pole to 0-5.
