Ulises Andrada started the match with the kick off. Maore Uceda stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pirmin Cerrabe's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. 9 minutes into the match, CA Paladines de Bogotá's goalkeeper Zosimo Vieitez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maurilio Lassa. Pirmin Cerrabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Maore Uceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isauro Quintianan kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Cansas's Maore Uceda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mon Peñarroja in the 18th minute of play. Cansas's Maurilio Lassa got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Zosimo Vieitez made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Maurilio Lassa sent off a good shot on target. Tadzio Olveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zosimo Vieitez having to interfere. In the 31stth minute of the game Pirmin Cerrabe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cansas's Maore Uceda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th match minute, Cansas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sadurni Coro to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Cedro Sancibrao sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cansas's Maore Uceda didn't even have to move. CA Paladines de Bogotá's Oxarra Seca got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pirmin Cerrabe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mon Peñarroja to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cansas's zone, Mon Peñarroja stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maore Uceda came out of the goal and Mon Peñarroja tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maore Uceda made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Pirmin Cerrabe sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the CA Paladines de Bogotá defense, Maurilio Lassa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zosimo Vieitez. The CA Paladines de Bogotá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zosimo Vieitez should have stopped the shot. After having played for 63 minutes, Mon Peñarroja managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Paladines de Bogotá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mon Peñarroja was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pirmin Cerrabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 65 played minutes Cansas got a freekick which was hit by Tadzio Olveira. In the 66th match minute, CA Paladines de Bogotá was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pirmin Cerrabe to maneuver through the defense. Pirmin Cerrabe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Maore Uceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zosimo Vieitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maurilio Lassa in the 72nd minute of play. Maurilio Lassa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zosimo Vieitez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Andrada, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Oxarra Seca charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Oxarra Seca the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 81st minute, Oxarra Seca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Pirmin Cerrabe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CA Paladines de Bogotá's Mon Peñarroja got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 86th minute, Zilar Velarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mon Peñarroja's late challenge caught a Cansas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mon Peñarroja helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cansas booed when CA Paladines de Bogotá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mon Peñarroja didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cansas's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
