Sindo Astozas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maore Uceda having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Sindo Astozas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sindo Astozas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Libertadores booed when Cansas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tadzio Olveira didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sindo Astozas came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Libertadores fans jumped to their feet. Maore Uceda was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roi Goya showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 41 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Roi Goya stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 3-0 became the score in the 54th minute when Roi Goya elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Libertadores's Enmanuel Figueira got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Maore Uceda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roi Goya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sindo Astozas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 91 minutes into the game, Roi Goya cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Maore Uceda was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maurilio Lassa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Transito Labrada made a huge save. Ulises Andrada blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Transito Labrada having to make a save. Transito Labrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Maurilio Lassa in the 97th minute. Libertadores walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
