After a defensive mix-up in Stark FC's zone, Sengrat Egas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cruz Milla came out of the goal and Sengrat Egas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 13th minute, Aurre Cancela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Leon Pradias came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mecana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leon Pradias couldn't finish the play. Raebert Sancho's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Alvaro Liviano skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Leon Pradias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cruz Milla having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Leon Pradias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mecana's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Pradias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cruz Milla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cruz Milla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sengrat Egas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Stark FC defense, Sengrat Egas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cruz Milla. The Stark FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cruz Milla should have stopped the shot. If Sengrat Egas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41st minute Leon Pradias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cruz Milla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rd minute Sengrat Egas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cruz Milla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the match clock showed 72 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Sengrat Egas sped through Stark FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cruz Milla. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Pradias in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cruz Milla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Leon Pradias received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cruz Milla came out and tried to block the shot, but Leon Pradias slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 80th minute. Fertus Erruz's late challenge caught a Stark FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fertus Erruz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th minute, Fertus Erruz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 88 minutes of play Mecana's Fertus Erruz was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Stark FC booed when Mecana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fertus Erruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alvaro Liviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florentino Arzumendi in the 93rd minute of play. Sengrat Egas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enrique Analla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cruz Milla having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Mecana left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Stark FC.
