Chinival FC's Bernebe Morcillo managed to work through Jirripta's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Bernebe Morcillo dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. 23 minutes into the match, Bernebe Morcillo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Jirripta's Isidoro Cadenas. Isidoro Cadenas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Isidoro Cadenas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernebe Morcillo in the 65th minute of play. Jirripta's Isidoro Cadenas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillen Descarrega in the 77th minute of play. Bernebe Morcillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isidoro Cadenas having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chinival FC defense, Benvido Vaca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aires Olaisola. The Chinival FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aires Olaisola should have stopped the shot. Chinival FC played a much better game than Jirripta and deserved their victory. The Jirripta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
