Ivan Puig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristofol Berdugo in the 5th minute of play. After 6 played minutes Guayabillas got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Trejo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edorta Salvia in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Puig saved Guayabillas from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Guayabillas fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 15th minute. Penalty! If Rodolfo Callejo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xosepe Bueldi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodolfo Callejo in the 23rd minute of the match. Cordeal Saldoval kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Ivan Puig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edorta Salvia in the 28th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ramone Davalos during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 32nd minute, Zarzurro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Rodolfo Callejo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 37 minutes of play Zarzurro's Ramone Davalos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of Guayabillas booed when Zarzurro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramone Davalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Donatello Cagide sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The wind increased when Cristofol Berdugo made the kick off in the second half. If Cristofol Berdugo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 62 minutes, Edorta Salvia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zarzurro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edorta Salvia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 63rd minute, Eusebio Trejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes, Dario Velez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zarzurro and the Guayabillas players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Zarzurro getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Dario Velez hit a great ball. When Cristofol Berdugo came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Zarzurro fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristofol Berdugo couldn't finish the play. 72 minutes into the game, Donatello Cagide was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Guayabillas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zarzurro the free kick. Donatello Cagide kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Donatello Cagide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xosepe Bueldi having to interfere. Cristofol Berdugo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Piarres Gallaiztegui's late challenge caught a Zarzurro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Piarres Gallaiztegui helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Guayabillas's Piarres Gallaiztegui got a free kick in the 92nd minute. In the 93rd minute, Raimundo Corisco sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guayabillas's Ivan Puig didn't even have to move. Cristofol Berdugos short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Ivan Puig to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Edorta Salvia struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Ivan Puig didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zarzurro. Cristofol Berdugo might have been able to make a better finish in the 98th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ivan Puig. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cristofol Berdugo ran back to his position shaking his head. When the match was over Zarzurro could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guayabillas throughout the match.
