Baltasar Piquero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bizen Feijoo went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fidele Freijo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 19 minutes into the match. Kaiet Horihuela shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lastur Galdamez hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Teranguara's Andres Luey in the 24th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Silvestre Cebada was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Lejia through an amazing save. In the 25th minute of the match Teranguara got a corner. Lejia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaiet Horihuela ran over to the corner to take the kick. Teranguara's Kaiet Horihuela was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvestre Cebada in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The supporters of Lejia booed when Teranguara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uzuri Sanchez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lejia's Bras Tigero got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 30 minutes, Bras Tigero made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Teranguara's Baltasar Piquero tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Lejia getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Honorato Redonet hit a great ball. After having played for 40 minutes, Bras Tigero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lejia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bras Tigero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bras Tigero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltasar Piquero having to interfere. Montrelle Ocomardia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 55th minute, Bras Tigero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Baltasar Piquero. The goal made the score 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bras Tigero got free with Baltasar Piquero in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bras Tigero took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Baltasar Piquero. After 83 minutes, Uzuri Sanchez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teranguara and the Lejia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uzuri Sanchez hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Bras Tigero could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Baltasar Piquero made a huge save. Baltasar Piquero made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Montrelle Ocomardia sent off a good shot on target. Honorato Redonet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Baltasar Piquero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bras Tigero struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Baltasar Piquero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lejia. Honorato Redonet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match was over Lejia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Teranguara throughout the match.
