In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villapaz F.C's goalkeeper Artaldo Bares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ur Gota in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Artaldo Bares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fortunato Almaraz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaztea Aleman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Inigo Doñez to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Villapaz F.C's zone, Gaztea Aleman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Artaldo Bares came out of the goal and Gaztea Aleman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Isias Viniegra's late challenge caught a Guadalito's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isias Viniegra helped the player get up and apologised. Isias Viniegra hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Gaztea Aleman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Artaldo Bares firmly grabbed it by the left post. A hard shot by Oswaldo Jaurigui from long distance, 74 minutes into the match, got Artaldo Bares's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Gaztea Aleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rosario Lastras took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Artaldo Bares. Artaldo Bares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match was over Guadalito could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Villapaz F.C throughout the match.
