Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Felix Basurto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Marcones Riguez hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Niolaao Peso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Lluciano Malsepica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niolaao Peso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluciano Malsepica having to interfere. Felix Basurto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niolaao Peso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Lluciano Malsepica made a huge save. Camilo Enebro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bihar Horreo in the 27th minute of play. Botafogo FC's Niolaao Peso got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Taguana were furious when Gillermo Baltuile was red carded, 30 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 29th minute of the game. One of Taguana:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Botafogo FC:s goal. Felix Basurto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Lluciano Malsepica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, Niolaao Peso notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Taguana's Lluciano Malsepica. Lluciano Malsepica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 43 played minutes Taguana got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Hierro. If Felix Basurto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Lluciano Malsepica managed to avoid a goal in the 48thth minute, when Botafogo FC's Niolaao Peso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feliz Gort to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Taguana defense, Niolaao Peso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lluciano Malsepica. The Taguana fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lluciano Malsepica should have stopped the shot. Botafogo FC's Felix Basurto got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Felix Basurto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Lluciano Malsepica tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Niolaao Peso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Felix Basurto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluciano Malsepica having to interfere. Lluciano Malsepica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niolaao Peso in the 69th minute of the match. Lluciano Malsepica made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Basurto in the 70th minute of play. Lluciano Malsepica came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Botafogo FC's Niolaao Peso. But to his dismay, Niolaao Peso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Niolaao Peso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Basurto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Lluciano Malsepica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Basurto in the 97th minute of the match.
