Spectators: 7500 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 150) Alianza Barranquilla FC's Benedicto Solares got a good chance for a goal in the 3rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 4 minutes into the game, Matteo Iglesias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Xoan Gijon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrea Falcon in the 12th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Benedicto Solares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alianza Barranquilla FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Benedicto Solares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Godofredo Arteaga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xoan Gijon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrea Falcon in the 20th minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Matteo Iglesias cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Godofredo Arteaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matteo Iglesias who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Godofredo Arteaga when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iztal Alcano in the 26th minute of play forced Alianza Barranquilla FC's goalkeeper Xoan Gijon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Xoan Gijon came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by COSMOS's Pio Duque. But to his dismay, Pio Duque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. 37 minutes into the game, Cordarrol Neila lined in a short shot 4-1 behind a frustrated Godofredo Arteaga. Cordarrol Neila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Arteaga having to interfere. 42 minutes into the game, Bibiano Vilamajo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alianza Barranquilla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COSMOS the free kick. In the 42nd minute, Bibiano Vilamajo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Andrea Falcon scored 4-2 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Xoan Gijon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-2 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Benito Berlanga made a kick off. Godofredo Arteaga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cordarrol Neila in the 54th minute of the match. Benedicto Solares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Godofredo Arteaga having to interfere. Benito Berlanga hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matteo Iglesias in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Godofredo Arteaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes, Benito Berlanga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the COSMOS and the Alianza Barranquilla FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Alianza Barranquilla FC booed when COSMOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Berlanga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benedicto Solares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Godofredo Arteaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paquito Pirez kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 72 minutes, Matteo Iglesias put it in 5-2 from a short distance just to the right of Godofredo Arteaga. Godofredo Arteaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matteo Iglesias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Godofredo Arteaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matteo Iglesias, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 86 minutes into the match, COSMOS's goal looked a bit too open when Cordarrol Neila came free, but Godofredo Arteaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Alianza Barranquilla FC booed when COSMOS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Onbera Abajas didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute Benedicto Solares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Godofredo Arteaga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Alianza Barranquilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benito Berlanga came free, but Xoan Gijon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benedicto Solares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Godofredo Arteaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benedicto Solares in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Alianza Barranquilla FC had won after a very even match.
