Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 154) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Errando Moraina took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa FC's goalkeeper Ekialde Pidrola, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oliverios Badillo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 5 minutes into the match. After 4 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Makarios FC! When the match had gone on for 9 minutes, Goizeder Cernadas took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Quirce Lopidana to make any attempt to save it. Goizeder Cernadas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Quirce Lopidana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Goizeder Cernadas in the 17th minute of the match. 20 minutes into the game, Elorri Govantes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Quirce Lopidana. Elorri Govantes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. In the 23rd minute Elorri Govantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Quirce Lopidana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Makarios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elorri Govantes came free, but Quirce Lopidana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Nastasio Rey came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Makarios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nastasio Rey couldn't finish the play. After 30 played minutes Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Xiao Muriedas. 31 minutes into the match, Nastasio Rey notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Villa FC's Ekialde Pidrola. Ekialde Pidrola was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Makarios FC's Quirce Lopidana played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elorri Govantes in the 41st minute of play. Federico Palenzuela kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. When Elorri Govantes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Villa FC's protests and gave Elorri Govantes a yellow card for diving instead. After 46 played minutes Villa FC got a freekick which was hit by Elorri Govantes. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.
Makarios FC's Nastasio Rey got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Nastasio Rey came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Makarios FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nastasio Rey couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as Makarios FC's Armando Bergas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ekialde Pidrola. That made the score 3-3 after 57 minutes of play. Ekialde Pidrola was a little too slow when Nastasio Rey got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 3-4. Goizeder Cernadas hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. If Rico Trasgallo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Armando Bergas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quirce Lopidana came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Villa FC's Goizeder Cernadas. But to his dismay, Goizeder Cernadas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-4. Nastasio Rey kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After having played for 76 minutes, Armando Bergas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makarios FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Armando Bergas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Villa FC's Ekialde Pidrola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Villa FC from getting a goal against them. 80 minutes into the match, Villa FC's goalkeeper Ekialde Pidrola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno Fresco. Quirce Lopidana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Errando Moraina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Goizeder Cernadas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Quirce Lopidana was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. 93 minutes into the match, Elorri Govantes notched a goal, 6-4, to the right of Makarios FC's Quirce Lopidana. Quirce Lopidana was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ekialde Pidrola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rico Trasgallo in the 97th minute of the match.
