Estrellas Doradas FC's Errando Barnuevo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Machado in the 5th minute of play. Feliciano Bara kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes Estrellas Doradas FC got a freekick which was hit by Favila Modino. Raymon Albisu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Estrellas Doradas FC booed when Chandozos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vellito Colmenares didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 20 played minutes Chandozos got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Bara. Leocadio Guizabal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Blanco having to interfere. Errapel Sola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Errando Barnuevo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Machado in the 27th minute of play. Errapel Sola kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 38th minute of the match Raymon Albisu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Errando Barnuevo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Adan Catalan fell near the penalty area in the 44th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chandozos's protests and gave Adan Catalan a yellow card for diving instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chucho Bares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 57th match minute, Estrellas Doradas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Esiquio Adarzo to maneuver through the defense. Errando Barnuevo made an important save on a dangerous shot by André Luís Machado in the 58th minute. Errando Barnuevo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Catalan in the 60th minute of the match. Nicolás Blanco came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Estrellas Doradas FC's Chucho Bares. But to his dismay, Chucho Bares quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 74th minute of the match, André Luís Machado got a very nice opportunity to score, but Errando Barnuevo was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Errando Barnuevo made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when André Luís Machado sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Vellito Colmenares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Errando Barnuevo. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. The Estrellas Doradas FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Chandozos's performance. The match ended with a win for Chandozos.
