If Natalio Fariñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ordono Cid made an important save on a dangerous shot by Galindo Rubial in the 30th minute. Ordono Cid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galindo Rubial in the 36th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Estrella Roja de Bogotá's goal looked a bit too open when Galindo Rubial came free, but Ordono Cid reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Galindo Rubial to strike the kick off in the second half. Ordono Cid made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Galindo Rubial in the 53rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Estrella Roja de Bogotá's Carolo Irabien got a free kick in the 57th minute. Teamest FC's Raphael Cañaveral proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Teamest FC from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute of the match Galindo Rubial sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ordono Cid skillfully saved the ball. Pierres Carasa kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Teamest FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
