In the 6th minute there was a penalty for Cortadera. Leopoldo Maluenda stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Arí Cunha. 0-1. Arí Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iban Casados, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When CAN FC.'s Ulisses Campidelis in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. CAN FC.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cortadera the free kick. Silvino Cubillas kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Arí Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eduino Benitua in the 17th minute of play. CAN FC.'s Arí Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iban Casados in the 21st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adolfo Enciso during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Adolfo Enciso hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Mauro Matoš could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Elija Riesgo made a huge save. Arí Cunha came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Cortadera's Eduino Benitua. But to his dismay, Eduino Benitua quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iban Casados during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iban Casados hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Ulisses Campidelis struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. After 38 played minutes Cortadera got a freekick which was hit by Iban Casados. In the 45thth minute of the game Ulisses Campidelis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cortadera's Elija Riesgo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 48th minute, Mauro Matoš ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elija Riesgo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ulisses Campidelis to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eduino Benitua got free with Arí Cunha in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to CAN FC. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Silvino Cubillas hit a great ball. CAN FC.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Adolfo Enciso 60 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Eduino Benitua was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 67th minute. Cortadera's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Elija Riesgo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Campidelis in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of CAN FC. booed when Cortadera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Arindez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Silvino Cubillas shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elija Riesgo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mauro Matoš in the 82nd minute of play forced Cortadera's goalkeeper Elija Riesgo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CAN FC.'s Arí Cunha proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save CAN FC. from getting a goal against them. The supporters of CAN FC. booed when Cortadera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iban Casados didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Ramos Colomo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arí Cunha skillfully saved the ball. The Cortadera players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
