The audience thought a goal was coming when Xzaver Pedrosa got free with Chucho Cañon in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Sauca FC's Baladi Septiem got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 20th minute of the match Gaston Inestrosa sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eladio Raireta skillfully saved the ball. 21 minutes into the match, Sauca FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rioja Ternero came free, but Eladio Raireta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Carabobo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Brena came free, but Chucho Cañon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Carabobo FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Chumo Olivan hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Carabobo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
