In the 12th minute, Lalla Murcia made a precise shot to the right of Xalbador Hermo. Curigua FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. In the 15th match minute, Curigua FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hermon Gavito to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Firme Irulegui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gambo's supporters rose to their feet, but Firme Irulegui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xalbador Hermo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the game, Gutierre Cerrillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Gustau Lazaro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 25 minutes into the match, Gambo's Lalla Murcia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Xalbador Hermo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gustau Lazaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierre Cerrillo in the 27th minute of play. 2-2 became the score in the 28th minute when Luis-Antonio Torrecilla elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 32nd minute, Gambo's Rami Cero ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Xalbador Hermo. Xalbador Hermo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Firme Irulegui could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Xalbador Hermo made a huge save. Lalla Murcia's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Xalbador Hermo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Curigua FC's Xalbador Hermo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firme Irulegui in the 39th minute of play. Gambo's Rami Cero got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Firme Irulegui in the 41st minute of play forced Curigua FC's goalkeeper Xalbador Hermo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Rami Cero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Firme Irulegui made a kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Curigua FC's goalkeeper Xalbador Hermo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 54 minutes into the game, Gambo's Lalla Murcia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Xalbador Hermo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Gambo's Gustau Lazaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis-Antonio Torrecilla in the 57th minute of play. Magdaleno Valcuende blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Xalbador Hermo having to make a save.
