The referee ignored Montesdeoca's protests and gave Oswaldo Antezana a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 9 minutes, Tomas Bergaño managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plantanales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomas Bergaño was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Plantanales FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ximeno Orden came free, but Celino Boiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomas Bergaño sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ximeno Orden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celino Boiro having to interfere. In the 31st minute the ball was on its way in behind Montesdeoca's goalkeeper Kepa Vaquerizo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Tomas Bergaño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tomas Bergaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Vaquerizo having to interfere. With a little luck, Montesdeoca's Kepa Vaquerizo got control of the ball when Tomas Bergaño tried to sneak it across the goal line. Montesdeoca's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Tomas Bergaño scored to the left of an out of position Kepa Vaquerizo, making the score, 2-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tomas Bergaño to make the kick off. The supporters of Plantanales FC booed when Montesdeoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lauaxeta Hermosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kepa Vaquerizo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Bergaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 62 minutes, Sadurni Abin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plantanales FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sadurni Abin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sadurni Abin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomas Bergaño in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kepa Vaquerizo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 75thth minute of the game Tomas Bergaño who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Montesdeoca's Kepa Vaquerizo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Damario Figueroa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomas Bergaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Vaquerizo having to interfere. Kepa Vaquerizo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Bergaño went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After having played for 90 minutes, Ximeno Orden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Montesdeoca's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ximeno Orden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Sadurni Abin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 94 minutes, Dalmacio Cerrabe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Plantanales FC and the Montesdeoca players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 94 played minutes Plantanales FC got a freekick which was hit by Dalmacio Cerrabe. When the referee ended the match the Plantanales FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
