Pedro Perdomo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johans Voces, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 7 minutes into the game, TIBURONSIN F.C's Ieltxu Sorondo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pedro Perdomo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Johans Voces had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pedro Perdomo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Johans Voces in the 15th minute of the match. Xose Bayllo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidensio Urtaza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, TIBURONSIN F.C's goalkeeper Fidensio Urtaza had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sanchez Albar. The TIBURONSIN F.C fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when TIBURONSIN F.C's Johans Voces looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 38th match minute, UA Carabobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tajo Vilamajo to maneuver through the defense. When TIBURONSIN F.C's Ieltxu Sorondo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Xose Bayllo in the 44th minute of play forced TIBURONSIN F.C's goalkeeper Fidensio Urtaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, TIBURONSIN F.C's Fidensio Urtaza got control of the ball when Sanchez Albar tried to sneak it across the goal line. After the first half TIBURONSIN F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Xose Bayllo to make the kick off. UA Carabobo were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after TIBURONSIN F.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaunti Porcayo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Xose Bayllo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Fidensio Urtaza quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The audience was convinced that Johans Voces's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pedro Perdomo was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Ieltxu Sorondo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 75 minutes, Danilo Berberana mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TIBURONSIN F.C and the UA Carabobo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 75 played minutes TIBURONSIN F.C got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Berberana. Johans Voces's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pedro Perdomo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. If Ieltxu Sorondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind UA Carabobo's goalkeeper Pedro Perdomo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sanchez Albar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Fidensio Urtaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. TIBURONSIN F.C's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
