Spectators: 8412 (Terracing: 6450, Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 162) Gotzon Arrazola started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giro Valdespino in the 4th minute of play forced Sauata's goalkeeper Samuel Valente to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giro Valdespino in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Valente saved Sauata from getting behind. In the 12th minute, La Salle S.C.'s Iratzeder Betanzos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With his leg Samuel Valente managed to avoid a goal in the 14thth minute, when La Salle S.C.'s Iratzeder Betanzos fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Giro Valdespino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Valente was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. After 22 played minutes La Salle S.C. got a freekick which was hit by Tanio Jonsansoro. Fraco Rozano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Giro Valdespino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. After 39 minutes of play, La Salle S.C.'s Giro Valdespino made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Valente was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Visayas Pecson got free with Samuel Valente in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iratzeder Betanzos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 44thth minute tested the skills of Samuel Valente when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Clemente Geli hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Giro Valdespino made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Giro Valdespino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Samuel Valente. Sauata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Giro Valdespino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Giro Valdespino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Samuel Valente having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Giro Valdespino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Valente was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. In the 57th minute of the match La Salle S.C. got a corner. Sauata's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Iratzeder Betanzos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The La Salle S.C. fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when La Salle S.C.'s Iratzeder Betanzos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Visayas Pecson charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Visayas Pecson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 65th match minute, La Salle S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Visayas Pecson to maneuver through the defense. La Salle S.C.'s Erasmo Secanell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gotzon Arrazola in the 66th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Giro Valdespino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Valente was relentless in the 71st minute of the game. In the 81st minute Victoro Alcantara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Samuel Valente saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86thth minute of the game Giro Valdespino who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sauata's Samuel Valente was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giro Valdespino in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Samuel Valente saved Sauata from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gotzon Arrazola during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 94 played minutes Sauata got a freekick which was hit by Gotzon Arrazola. La Salle S.C.'s fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
