The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathon Riley got free with Leon Rutledge in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathon Riley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Leon Rutledge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Le Roy AFC's zone, Jonathon Riley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leon Rutledge came out of the goal and Jonathon Riley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jonathon Riley came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the South Bradenton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathon Riley couldn't finish the play. Wilfredo Travis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shane Healy in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, South Bradenton AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Shane Healy came free, but Wilfredo Travis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Whitney Solis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Le Roy AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Whitney Solis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 48 played minutes Le Roy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rolando Crowell. The long shot by Emilio Worthington in the 49th minute really tested Leon Rutledge's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

After a rather tough play, South Bradenton AFC's Darius Jean got a free kick in the 55th minute. Whitney Solis struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Wilfredo Travis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Le Roy AFC. Whitney Solis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilfredo Travis having to interfere. Shane Healy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Wilfredo Travis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Shane Healy's late challenge caught a South Bradenton AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Shane Healy helped the player get up and apologised. After 71 played minutes Le Roy AFC got a freekick which was hit by Graham Armenta. In the 72nd minute of the match Emilio Worthington sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Leon Rutledge skillfully saved the ball. Jonathon Riley fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leon Rutledge having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jon Sanford managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wilfredo Travis didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. 100 minutes into the match, Jonathon Riley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leon Rutledge. Le Roy AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathon Riley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.
