Williamsport FC's Mohammad Dunn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to save Williamsport FC from getting a goal against them. In the 71st minute, Yavuz Selimhan Neşet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Williamsport FC's zone, J.C. McElroy stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mohammad Dunn came out of the goal and J.C. McElroy tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Miami FC getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Austin Pollard hit a great ball. Dante Sorensen struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Felipe Mattson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Williamsport FC. If J.C. McElroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Miami FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Williamsport FC throughout the match.
