Spectators: 6726 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Waldo Carrasco kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Waldo Carrasco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 6 minutes of play, Santa Fe's Duncan Puckett made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Brock Clemons was left in no man's land by his defense there! Antonio MacWilliams struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Ronny Burris didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Somaspor. Duncan Puckett's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The supporters of Somaspor booed when Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Puckett didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Santa Fe's Lorenzo Watkins slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Brock Clemons. That made the score 3-0 after 46 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Wes Reed stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60thth minute of the game Wes Reed who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Somaspor's Brock Clemons was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Somaspor's Brock Clemons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Watkins in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Santa Fe's zone, Seth Rasmussen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronny Burris came out of the goal and Seth Rasmussen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emmanuel Serrano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Brock Clemons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Seth Rasmussen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Brock Clemons was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Somaspor's supporters rose to their feet, but Antonio MacWilliams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ronny Burris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Santa Fe were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Somaspor for a fine match.
