Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Wayne Mayberry kicked off to start the match. 2 minutes into the game, Lincoln Hufnagel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Fe's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DEPORTIVO ORO the free kick. The supporters of DEPORTIVO ORO booed when Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lincoln Hufnagel didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Duncan Puckett came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Santa Fe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duncan Puckett couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, DEPORTIVO ORO's Robby Ellis got a free kick in the 8th minute. Russell Darling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Reed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 17 minutes into the match, Duncan Puckett notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of DEPORTIVO ORO's Russell Darling. Russell Darling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ronny Burris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wayne Mayberry in the 22nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Wes Reed took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Russell Darling to make any attempt to save it. After 30 minutes, Wes Reed mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santa Fe and the DEPORTIVO ORO players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Santa Fe's Wes Reed got a free kick in the 30th minute. Ronny Burris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joe Worthington, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wes Reed had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Wes Reed dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Russell Darling, 3-0. Russell Darling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duncan Puckett in the 42nd minute of play. Wes Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wes Reed made a kick off. The supporters of DEPORTIVO ORO booed when Santa Fe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nelson Sito didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ronny Burris made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robby Ellis in the 55th minute. Wes Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 60 played minutes DEPORTIVO ORO got a freekick which was hit by D.J. Askew. 62 minutes into the match, DEPORTIVO ORO's goal looked a bit too open when Wes Reed came free, but Russell Darling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Duncan Puckett in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Russell Darling saved DEPORTIVO ORO from getting behind. Santa Fe's Wes Reed managed to work through DEPORTIVO ORO's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Wes Reed dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Wes Reed sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ronny Burris showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wayne Mayberry in the 75th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in DEPORTIVO ORO's zone, Wes Reed stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russell Darling came out of the goal and Wes Reed tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duncan Puckett sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 89 minutes into the match, Santa Fe's goalkeeper Ronny Burris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Worthington. Duncan Puckett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Russell Darling having to interfere. Russell Darling took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wes Reed, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DEPORTIVO ORO's Russell Darling played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wes Reed in the 96th minute of play. Santa Fe's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
