An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Estrada in the 10th minute of play forced Nappanee's goalkeeper Tyrell Doud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cameron Jean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tyrell Doud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Nappanee getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. DeAngelo LoDuca hit a great ball. Tyrell Doud didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cameron Jean went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute of the match Oswaldo Fuentes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tyrell Doud showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Mckinley Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nappanee's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mckinley Austin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mckinley Austin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cameron Jean got free with Tyrell Doud in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tyrell Doud made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cameron Jean in the 56th minute. If Rodolfo Oakley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tyrell Doud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Estrada, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tyrell Doud made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Estrada in the 62nd minute of play. When DeAngelo LoDuca fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nappanee's protests and gave DeAngelo LoDuca a yellow card for diving instead. When Home Gardens's Carlos Estrada in 64 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Tyrell Doud guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. A hard shot by Franklin Trevino from long distance, 72 minutes into the match, got Tyrell Doud's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 80th minute of the match Merrill Lott sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jarvis Metcalf skillfully saved the ball. In the 83rd match minute, Home Gardens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stanley Russell to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Nappanee's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Estrada came free, but Tyrell Doud reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlos Estrada received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Tyrell Doud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
