The audience was convinced that Stewart Abrams's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rafael Schmidt was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. In the 37th minute Stewart Abrams shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 41 played minutes Mello FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Delong. In the 43rd minute, Brandon Cardwell fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joshua Rice, passed just outside the right post. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Stewart Abrams managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mello FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stewart Abrams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rafael Schmidt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sam Irving hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jack Lloyd made a kick off. Cedric Parson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Rafael Schmidt made a huge save. Joshua Rice was left in no man's land by his defense there! Stewart Abrams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stewart Abrams blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Schmidt having to make a save. In the 97th minute, Norberto Delong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
