Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domenic Harmon started the match with the kick off. Orlando Doran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Darrel Clearwater tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Doran in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Darrel Clearwater, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alonso Ewing's late challenge caught a FC Woodstock's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alonso Ewing helped the player get up and apologised. Alonso Ewing hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Mitch Alvarez charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mitch Alvarez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Surprise AFC's Mitch Alvarez got a free kick in the 9th minute. Darrel Clearwater came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Woodstock's Orlando Doran. But to his dismay, Orlando Doran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Orlando Doran charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Doran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Woodstock getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Orlando Doran hit a great ball. If Orlando Doran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domenic Harmon in the 22nd minute of play forced Surprise AFC's goalkeeper Darrel Clearwater to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Darrel Clearwater made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domenic Harmon in the 24th minute of play. Orlando Doran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrel Clearwater having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Surprise AFC's zone, Domenic Harmon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Darrel Clearwater came out of the goal and Domenic Harmon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alonso Ewing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Quincy Rankin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37th minute Domenic Harmon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Darrel Clearwater saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alonso Ewing recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 41st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to FC Woodstock getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Orlando Doran hit a great ball. Surprise AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Domenic Harmon scored to the left of an out of position Darrel Clearwater, making the score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alonso Ewing to make the kick off. Darrel Clearwater was left in no man's land by his defense there! Orlando Doran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch Alvarez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quincy Rankin having to interfere. Alonso Ewing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Quincy Rankin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Doran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Darrel Clearwater having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the Surprise AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Woodstock.
