Seating: 1005, VIP seats: 0) Eau Claire United's Simon Flint started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Dustin Nava ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramon Correa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Sandia Heights's goalkeeper Tracy Chin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Robbie Ortega. Ramon Correa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bobby Staton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Eau Claire United's Carson Williamson got a free kick in the 15th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Eau Claire United's goal looked a bit too open when Vance Kramer came free, but Ramon Correa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raphael Yoshioka in the 20th minute of play forced Eau Claire United's goalkeeper Ramon Correa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramon Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raphael Yoshioka in the 23rd minute of play. The supporters of Sandia Heights booed when Eau Claire United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robbie Ortega didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Raphael Yoshioka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sandia Heights fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Sandia Heights's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Simon Flint scored to the left of an out of position Tracy Chin, making the score, 1-2. Mario Parsons hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Lazaro McKinley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 42nd match minute, Sandia Heights was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garrett Dykes to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Joe Becerra in the 44th minute really tested Tracy Chin's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. With a little luck, Sandia Heights's Tracy Chin got control of the ball when Joe Becerra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Sandia Heights's goalkeeper Tracy Chin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joe Becerra.
Ramon Correa made a fantastic save in the 51st minute, when Vance Kramer sent off a good shot on target. The referee felt a red card was in order, 59 minutes into the game, when Lazaro McKinley put in a rough tackle. After a rather tough play, Sandia Heights's Lazaro McKinley got a free kick in the 60th minute. In the 64th minute Vance Kramer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Correa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sandia Heights's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Carson Williamson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Tracy Chin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Simon Flint in the 73rd minute of the match. After 80 played minutes Eau Claire United got a freekick which was hit by Simon Flint. In the 82nd match minute, Eau Claire United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kermit Swan to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 84 minutes, Dustin Nava managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sandia Heights's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dustin Nava was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Dustin Nava got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 88 minutes into the match, Sandia Heights's goal looked a bit too open when Carson Williamson came free, but Tracy Chin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Eau Claire United's Carson Williamson got a free kick in the 90th minute. Ramon Correa was a little too slow when Bobby Staton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-3. The Sandia Heights players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
