Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tory McCord started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Keenan Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory McCord in the 3rd minute of the match. After 8 minutes of play, West Puente Valley's Terrence Epps made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Keenan Daniels was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of West Puente Valley booed when Westway AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Allan Calderwood didn't get a good kick on the ball. Corey Roberson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 23 minutes, Dallas Woodall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westway AFC and the West Puente Valley players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dallas Woodall hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Tory McCord fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keenan Daniels having to interfere. Keenan Daniels was a little too slow when Tory McCord got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 2-0. A collision led to West Puente Valley getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Corey Roberson hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Arthur Pruett got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Westway AFC's Ted Kent got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Kent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Kirby Naylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 41 minutes into the match, West Puente Valley's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Kent came free, but Kirby Naylor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ted Kent came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Westway AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ted Kent couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Ted Kent got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ted Kent to make the kick off. Stephan Farr charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephan Farr the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 56th minute of the match Westway AFC got a corner. West Puente Valley's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Victor Earl ran over to the corner to take the kick. Ted Kent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Kirby Naylor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arthur Pruett got free with Kirby Naylor in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After having played for 66 minutes, Tory McCord managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. West Puente Valley's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tory McCord was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Terrence Epps managed to get in a good position for a shot. West Puente Valley's supporters rose to their feet, but Terrence Epps was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Keenan Daniels breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Westway AFC's Keenan Daniels played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tory McCord in the 71st minute of play. Ted Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes Ted Kent rounded West Puente Valley's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Keenan Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tory McCord in the 80th minute of the match. Terrence Epps fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keenan Daniels having to interfere. Kirby Naylor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ted Kent, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Westway AFC's Ted Kent in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye West Puente Valley's goalie prevented a goal. Ted Kent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keenan Daniels showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terrence Epps in the 91st minute of the match. If Ted Kent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arthur Pruett recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
