The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeffrey Mayer showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Drew Samuel's late challenge caught a Orange Grove's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Drew Samuel helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 21st minute of the game. One of Fargo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Orange Grove:s goal. The referee gave Orange Grove a penalty, 23 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Kelly Houston, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Fargo's Jeffrey Mayer. 0-1. 28 minutes into the match, Fargo's goal looked a bit too open when Kelly Houston came free, but Jeffrey Mayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jeffrey Mayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kelly Houston, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Titus Irvin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Napoleon Temple was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bronson Delarosa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 47 minute of play.

The wind increased when Wyatt Lehman made the kick off in the second half. Bronson Delarosa took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Napoleon Temple. Napoleon Temple dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Tad Swartz came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Orange Grove fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tad Swartz couldn't finish the play. Taylor Kurtz hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. If Bronson Delarosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Fargo getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Kelly Pulliam hit a great ball. Tad Swartz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fargo's Jeffrey Mayer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wyatt Lehman in the 72nd minute of play. In the 78th match minute, Fargo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Connor Tyson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 79 minutes, Kelly Houston managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Orange Grove's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kelly Houston was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Fargo's goalkeeper Jeffrey Mayer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tad Swartz. Kelly Pulliam took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Napoleon Temple. Napoleon Temple dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. If Tad Swartz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute of the game, Vince Canales landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. Hal Peoples charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hal Peoples the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orange Grove's Alberto Shepherd was substituted for Vince Canales. A collision led to Orange Grove getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Tad Swartz hit a great ball. 96 minutes in the game, Wyatt Lehman dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Jeffrey Mayer made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Tad Swartz sent off a good shot on target. For all the effort they put into the match, the Orange Grove players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Fargo.
